EcoOsta Ltd. was founded and registered in the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia in 1999.

Activity status of the enterprise: oily waste reclamation, treatment and processing (oily waste withdrawal, etc.); conducting researches and experiments within the field of natural and technical sciences; activity within the scope of architecture and design; technical consultation rendering related to the previously indicated activity fields; technical inspection and analysis.     

Activity directions of a network of cleansing facilities
  • Purification and treatment of: ballast waters, waters contaminated with oil products; effluents and drainage waters;
  • Liquid fuel waste reclamation, including organic dissolvents. Cleaning of the soil contaminated with oil products;
  • Collection of used oil filters and also their reclamation;
  • Collection of waste oils and remains of oil products; fuel mixture-making for the future reclamation; production and distribution of a mixer-disperser;
  • Design of filter systems, production and installation (to purify waters contaminated with oil products) on parking-lots and gas stations;
  • Design of cleansing facilities, for purifying waters contaminated with oil products, also their construction and technical inspection.

Waste sources: manufacturing and transport ventures, car services, parking lots, car washes. The enterprise is organizing a collection of oily products after the fuel spillage, waste oils, used oil filters, cooling oil solutions on the territory of Riga, as well as Latvia. Cleansing facilities are equipped with filters produced by EcoOsta Ltd., which are used in practice and are in a perfect working condition. The filters are assembled on various premises in Riga, as well as in car services, car washes and many-storeyed parking lots. The enterprise was founded in co-operation with “Vudison Terminals” and is located on the territory of Riga port. In the enterprise works a team of specialists with a considerable experience within the field of environmental protection. For the moment there are around 60 working places – president, consultant, director, chief accountant, accountancy cashier, secretary of documentation, technical director, project managers, cleansing facilities operators, lab technician, labour protection specialist, electric-systems engineer, electricians, dispatchers, expeditors, drivers, captain,  chief mechanic, enginemen, sailors, skippers, firemen.

EcoOsta Ltd. has a considerable experience within the field of co-operation with ones of the biggest port enterprises, stevedores, bus fleets, auto dealers and other machine enterprises of Riga. Constantly are developing technological processes that correspond to the norms and standards of the day, which gives rise to new possibilities of enhancing a range of services within the scope of maintenance and hazardous waste reclamation.  In June 2006 EcoOsta Ltd. concluded a co-operation agreement with “Zalya Yosta” Ltd., to maintain and reclaim wastes harmful to the environment.

Our goal is to limit the environmental pollution and support the integration of nature-friendly technologies. For the moment we already are one of the market leaders with a broad circle of co-operation partners, as within the scope of self-government, as within the scope of waste management.

We base our activity on the following concepts: responsible business, high competence and professional co-operation.

We are interested not only in our immediate partners – entrepreneurs, but also in co-operation as such. We believe that exactly in co-operation the existing values and attitude towards the environment incite development of responsible business and raise awareness of consequences that are produced during the process of enterprise’s life cycle.

OUR GOAL is to limit the environmental pollution and support the integration of nature-friendly technologies.

Activity directions of the enterprise:
  •  Hazardous waste management;
  • Activity within technical sciences;
  • Construction and maintenance of any type of a cleansing facility;
  • Activity within design and technical consultation rendering.
Maintenance and reclamation of the following hazardous wastes:
  • Effluents contaminated with oil products;
  • Used lubricants / lube oils;
  • Used oil filters;
  • Used tyres;
  • Organic dissolvents;
  • Cleaning, treatment and reclamation of soil contaminated with oil products.

Our enterprise concludes a long-term maintenance agreement, carries out single orders and offers to develop and employ compensation actuators.

Our enterprise works in accordance with the standards of the environmental management system ISO 14001.

Since 2007 EcoOsta Ltd. had adapted the basic activity concepts and standards of the certificate ISO. Environmental Due Diligence Audit (EDD) is carried out annually in the enterprise, which results in improvements as within enterprise environment management, as within customer service.

Good solutions sometimes require complex processes. In terms of tehnology we have these solutions available on site- both process and capasity.
